§ 10-1. Building code adopted.

(a)

Parts I, and II and III of the 2009 edition of the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code (USBC), as now or hereafter amended, are hereby adopted.

(b)

The building official is hereby designated fire prevention code official and is appointed the enforcing agency for the enforcement of "the Virginia Statewide Fire Prevention Code," duly adopted by the Virginia Board of Housing and Community Development, under authority of Code of Virginia, § 27-97.
