§ 46-2. Off-duty employment of police officers and deputy sheriffs.

Pursuant to Code of Virginia, § 15.2-1712, police officers and deputy sheriffs are authorized to engage in off-duty employment that may require the use of their police powers in the performance of such employment. Any such employment shall be subject to rules and regulations promulgated by the chief of the police department and the sheriff for their respective departments.
