§ 54-8. Well covers.

  • (a)

    Every person owning or occupying any land within the county on which there is a well having a diameter greater than six inches and which is more than ten feet deep shall at all times keep the well securely covered in such a manner as to not be dangerous to human beings, animals or fowl.

    (b)

    Any person who violates any provision of this section shall guilty of a class 3 misdemeanor.
