§ 58-29. Supervision by director of health.

  • It shall be the duty of the county's director of health, or a qualified person designated by him, to provide education and consultation, establish advisory standards and exercise appropriate supervision regarding the safe preparation, handling, protection and preservation of food at food booths at fairs, if such booths are promoted or sponsored by any political subdivision of the commonwealth or by any charitable nonprofit organization or group thereof and at concession stands at youth athletic activities, to protect the public health.
