§ 62-31. Created; composition; appointment, terms and removal of members; vacancies.

(a)

A county planning commission is hereby created in accordance with the provisions of Code of Virginia, § 15.2-2210 et seq.

(b)

The planning commission shall consist of not less than five nor more than 15 members, for staggered terms of four years.

(c)

Any vacancy in membership shall be filled through appointment by the board of supervisors for an unexpired term.

(d)

Any appointed member may be removed by the board of supervisors for inefficiency, neglect of duty or malfeasance in office.
