§ 63-1. Purpose and intent; application.

(a)

The purpose of this chapter is to promote the general health, safety and welfare of the public. To these ends, the purpose and intent of this chapter are to:

(1)

Facilitate the response of adequate public safety services;

(2)

Relieve conditions causing difficulty in locating properties and buildings for county agencies, the general public, and others; and

(3)

Provide a uniform system of premises addressing for all properties and addressable structures throughout the county.

(b)

This chapter shall apply to all areas of the county.
