§ 70-516.18. Effect of recordation of approved plat.

(a)

The recordation of an approved plat shall operate to transfer, in fee simple, to the county, the portion of the premises set apart for streets, alleys, bikeways, sidewalks or other public use, and to convey facilities and easements for the conveyance of stormwater, public water and sewage.

(b)

When the agent approves, in accordance with this ordinance, a plat or replat of land, then upon the recording of the plat or replat in the circuit court clerk's office, all rights-of-way, easements or other interest of the county in the land included on the plat or replat, except as shown thereon, shall be terminated and extinguished.
