§ 70-750. Street inspections.

(a)

The subdivider is responsible for contacting VDOT and/or the county at least 48 hours prior to required street inspections. Base stone shall not be installed until the subgrade has been approved by VDOT. No asphalt pavement shall be installed until the base stone has been inspected and approved by VDOT. VDOT may require compaction tests in areas suspected of inadequate compaction and may require undercutting and additional tests in areas that appear deficient during proof-rolling.
