§ 74-4. Allocation of real estate tax for fire apparatus replacement.

The board of supervisors shall allocate the revenue from $.02 of each year's real estate tax revenue to a fire apparatus replacement fund for the coordinated fire/EMS system. Such revenue shall be used exclusively for fire apparatus replacement and shall not be subject to any deduction related to annual transfers to the school system or deductions for any other purpose. "Apparatus" shall mean engines/pumpers, aerial ladder trucks, heavy rescue apparatus, tankers, medium/light duty squads, ambulances or similar motor vehicles.
