§ 74-478. Duty of county treasurer.

The county treasurer shall have the power and duty of collecting the taxes imposed and levied under this article and shall cause the taxes to be paid into the general treasury for the county. The treasurer shall have all of the enforcement powers as authorized by article 2, chapter 31 of title 58.1 of the Code of Virginia (Code of Virginia, § 58.1-3100 et seq.) for purposes of this article.
