There is hereby created the "Exit 45" tourism zone, in accordance with Code of Virginia,
§ 58.1-3851 et seq., as amended, consisting of all that area near Exit 45 of Interstate
95 shown on an official map entitled "Prince George Exit 45 Tourism Zone, April 8,
2014," delineating the boundaries of the zone (such map to be maintained by the planning
department). The purpose of the zone is to provide economic incentives and regulatory
flexibility for eligible business entities in order to attract visitors to Prince
George County, to encourage substantial investments in Prince George County, and to
create new jobs in the county's Exit 45 tourism zone.
