§ 82-44. Moving of tenant; delinquent user.

  • (a)

    When the tenant of any premises is about to move, he shall give the director at least three days' notice thereof that utility service is to be stopped. If he fails to give such notice, he shall be chargeable for all water fees and charges accruing against the account of the premises until service is stopped or until an application is filed by the new tenant.

    (b)

    Any user who vacates a premises without paying for water charges made against him shall not have county utility service made available within the county until the amount due from him has been paid.
