Article XIX. OFFSTREET PARKING AND LOADING REQUIREMENTS |
§ 90-862.4. Offstreet loading requirements.
(a)
All offstreet loading spaces and their aisles and driveways shall not be reduced in any manner except upon approval by the administrator when a change in land use or building size reduces the number of loading spaces.
(b)
No required offstreet loading area shall be used to meet the space requirements for offstreet parking, and no loading area shall interfere with the site circulation within the required offstreet parking area.
(c)
All offstreet loading spaces shall have safe and convenient access to a road. If any spaces are contiguous to a road, the loading space shall be curbed for proper site access and for stormwater drainage purposes.
(d)
When a building includes a combination of uses, the required number of loading spaces will be the sum of the required loading spaces for each use. In no case shall the development be required to provide in excess of five loading spaces.
